Maleeka’s Top Restaurant Picks

Next week restaurants, pubs and bars can open inside, and I am SO excited! I can’t wait to go back out for cocktails and dinner. The only thing is knowing where to go – there are so many places to choose from. To give you a little inspiration I’ve chosen my top three restaurant picks!

You can thank me later,

Love Maleeka x

Chameleon

I am so excited to visit Chameleon – it’s only recently opened, and everyone is talking about it as the place to go. They serve a Tel Avivian sharing-style menu and I can’t wait to try it out, whilst dining in one of their bespoke greenhouses. It’s not just a restaurant though! They have their own flower market, cinema nights, dance classes, health and wellness sessions, art exhibitions and a new party experience – after a long time in lockdown, I am really looking forward to a night out and listening to live music!

BRAT

Chef Tomos Parry’s BRAT in Shoreditch is a favourite of mine, and I can’t wait to get back to enjoy a fab lunch there. It’s all about Basque rustic cooking. I love their Turbot dish, and I enjoy watching the chefs cook it over hot embers. I don’t know what is in the special ‘secret’ water that they spray the fish with, but it’s delicious and arrives with a subtle smoky flavour – I highly recommend it.

The Compasses Inn

When it comes to great country pubs, you can’t beat The Compasses Inn in Crundale, Kent. I love getting out of London at the weekend and going for a long walk on The Downs before heading there for lunch or dinner. It is just so cosy and charming, and you always get a warm welcome. They serve the best food! It’s not your typical pub grub, which is why they’ve recently won many awards and accolades, including retaining a Michelin Bib Gourmand for two years!
